Faculty Development Programme on Entrepreneurship

Technology has opened up new opportunities for young entrepreneurs. Both the Central and State Governments are providing various supports for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in the educational institutions. " Campus Startup" has become the new paradigm for dynamic and innovative students.

Technology Business Incubator @ Kongu Engineering College (TBI@KEC) has been conducting "Faculty Development Programme on Entrepreneurship" for nearly a decade to equip faculty from Science and Technical Institutes to carry out entrepreneurial activities and for inculcating the spirit of entrepreneurship among the students in their educational institutions. This year TBI@KEC is conducting FDP on Entrepreneurship from 13 th to 25 th November 2017. This programme is sponsored by National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), DST/GoI under DST-NIMAT Project through Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI), Ahmedabad.

The two week (full time) FDP on Entrepreneurship aims to provide the participants with the inputs in the form of knowledge, information and experience sharing. On successful completion of the programme, the participants will be able to develop vision, strategy and structure for Entrepreneurship Development in an Educational Institution and organize Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps for students not only in their institutions but also in their region.

As the programme is sponsored by NSTEDB, there is no registration fee. The lodging and boarding expenses of the participants in the campus are also met by the organisers.

Interested may kindly arrange to send us the duly filled in registration form so as reach TBI@KEC on or before 04.11.2017. Maximum 2 faculty may participate from a institution.
